Report suspected wrongdoing related to Revenue Scotland
Report a person or business you think is not paying the right tax or if there is another type of wrongdoing related to Revenue Scotland. We are responsible for collecting and managing Scotland's devolved taxes:
Land and Building Transaction Tax (LBTT)
Scottish Landfill Tax (SlfT)
We'll not be able to assist with issues related to taxes that we don't administer. For any other tax issues, please check with HMRC or the Welsh Revenue Authority.
How to make a report
Please provide information about the individual or business you are reporting. This could include:
- their name
- their address
- the type of wrong doing activity
You do not have to give your name or contact details unless you want to. Any information you give will be kept private and confidential in line with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).
For your own safety do not try to find out more about the reported activity or let anyone know you are making a report. If you feel your personal safety is at risk, call the police.
We cannot provide you with updates or feedback and are not acting on your behalf.
The information you provide may be passed on to law enforcement agencies, or other tax authorities where we have the appropriate authority to do so.
