Commentary

A total self reported tax liability of £80.2m was declared by taxpayers in October 2021, £10.0m more than September 2021, and £18.4m more than October 2020.

In comparison to the previous month, residential liabilities increased by £3.6m and non-residential liabilities increased by £6.4m.

A total of 11,450 notifiable land and building transactions were reported in October 2021, which is 430 more than September 2021, and 1,750 less than October 2020.
