Monthly LBTT Statistics June 2021

Commentary

A total self reported tax liability of £81.2m was declared by taxpayers in June 2021, £27.8m higher than May 2021, and £57.3m higher than June 2020. 

In comparison to the previous month, residential liabilities increased by £17.7m and non-residential liabilities increased by £10.0m.

A total of 12,430 notifiable land and building transactions were reported in June 2021, which is 2,580 more than May 2021, and 7,460 more than June 2020.
