Commentary

A total self reported tax liability of £87.2m was declared by taxpayers in November 2022. 

The tax liability, excluding ADS, declared in November 2022 was £68.5m. This is £1.9m more than October 2022, and £8.2m more than November 2021.

In comparison to the previous month, residential liabilities, excluding ADS, decreased by £2.6m and non-residential liabilities, excluding ADS, increased by £4.4m.

A total of 11,120 notifiable land and building transactions were reported in November 2022, which is 240 fewer than October 2022, and 660 fewer than November 2021.
