Commentary

A total self reported tax liability of £82.4m was declared by taxpayers in September 2022. 

The tax liability, excluding ADS, declared in September 2022 was £64.3m. This is £0.1m less than August 2022, and £10.2m more than September 2021.

In comparison to the previous month, residential liabilities, excluding ADS, decreased by £3.4m and non-residential liabilities, excluding ADS, increased by £3.3m.

A total of 10,610 notifiable land and building transactions were reported in September 2022, which is 1,180 fewer than August 2022, and 400 fewer than September 2021.
